3 Weeks !?!?!

OMG, almost 3 weeks since I posted here! Slapped wrists for me!

I have no excuses really - my studying is over for the summer, and I have been spending the evenings fiddling with pieces of paper & not actually producing anything or trying to sort out my scrapbooking stash - which as we all know is a job that takes forever and is never finished LOL.

However, last night I seemed to be on a bit of a roll and made several cards, all of which I was quite pleased with.

This afternoon we have family round for a BBQ so I must go and finish getting ready.....back later with some piccies of my cards.

Over at last!

Yippee! My exams are over!

Well, over for now at least - no more studying until September. I have to wait until the middle of August for my results but at least now I can relax (apart from heading back to work & our year end process) and can enjoy my evenings & weekends again. We also have a holiday to look forwatd to next month :-D

Normal service can now be resumed - let the crafting begin! (sssh, dont tell DH - he thinks I will be catching up on the H-word!!)

Oops!

I did it again!....spent money that is :-) I didn't mean to, honest!

I have been studying hard and revising for my exams so I decided to give myself a little bit of crafting time as a reward and realised that I am down to my last sheet of watercolour paper - aargh! - so I go in search of the best price for a new pad & find a good deal at The Paper Mill Shop, an A3 pad of 20 sheets for £2.99, yay!

Then I spotted the masculine paper pack that I have been thinking about getting so that fell into my basket too (even though it was 12x12 and I originally wanted 6x6 or 8x8 - hey, I can cut it down!) and before I know it I had also stocked up on cellophane bags for my cards, one of their famous boxes of card, a couple of glue pens and a gift voucher ;-) Oh well, I will appease my guilty conscience with the thought that at least I saved the P&P as orders over £25 are delivered free (suddenly the £5 voucher makes sense!) and I wont need to buy plain card for AGES!

As for the studying...2 more days of hard graft over the weekend and hopefully I will have a good chance of passing 1 exam and a reasonable chance of not disgracing myself too disastrously in the second! Please cross your fingers for me on Monday & Tuesday.....

Wow! I have been blog-hopping tonight and I am in awe of some of the wonderful creations out there.

Also, some incredibly generous people such as the super talented lady who is offering some truly fantastic Hanglar & Stanglar blog candy....check it out here :)
Thank you to my super SAD friend Fae, whose blog pointed me in Heidi's direction :) Fingers crossed! ;)

Under Construction

Well, I decided it was about time I had a blog :) I was feeling a bit left out without one!

A word of warning though - there are not enough hours in my day already, so blogging is likely to be a slow process...please bear with me and pop back from time to time ;)
